WWVB Function and Alarm Clock

Newentor Weather Clocks begin searching WWVB signal( -8 PST、-7 MST、-6 CST、-5 EST) each day at 1:00 AM or after resetting the device.Note: Please do not put your wireless outside sensor in direct sunlight or rain to affect its accuracy.

How long does it take for the atomic clock to update?

You need to set a right time zone and turn ON DST first and then you can search WWVB signal manually: Here are the steps to choose Time Zone and set the Time: 1. Choose time zone: 1) Press and hold the 1st button beside device to enter 24/12 hrs setting, press "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to choose, press the 1st button again to confirm setting and enter time zone setting. 2) Press “DOWN” button to set the time zone( there are 4 time zones: -8PST, -7MST,-6CST,-5EST) according to your location, then you will enter DST ON/OFF option(when Daylight saving time), please choose"ON". 2. Set the time 1）Manual: After setting Daylight saving time, press the 1st button to enter time setting, click "UP" and "DOWN" button to set the correct time and date. 2）Auto: After setting Daylight saving time, leave it alone until it displays normal time, press and hold“UP” button for 5 seconds to manually begin to search WWVB signal. At this time, the backlight will turn dark, this process takes about 7 minutes and the backlight will light up again after the search. The time and date will be automatically set. Why the backlit doesn’t stay on even plugged in?

Thanks for your question. There have a saving power mode when plug in. When plugged in, you can switch the backlight to turn off and touch the Snooze/light button. The backlight will turn off automatically after 15s. How to keep the backlight stay on. If the backlight are light up, you can press the sixth button to let the backlight stay on. If the backlight are turn off, touch the snooze/light button and press the sixth button. Hope it can help resolve the problem. The weather station is plugged in, the backlight would black out after a few minutes. I want to contact the seller for a instruction. Anyone knows how?

I guess you should be set it at power saving mode, to fix this issue, please follow below step: 1.Please power your weather station with DC power adapter rather than battery. 2. Press sixth button beside device to wake up the weather station, then it will stay on.
